Prairie Blossom Therapy is currently a private-pay practice and does not directly bill insurance.
Choosing a private-pay model allows for more individualized care, flexibility, and therapy that is tailored to each child rather than insurance limitations.
Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) payment cards are accepted for eligible speech-language therapy services. Because individual plans and eligibility requirements can vary, families are encouraged to verify coverage and reimbursement guidelines directly with their HSA and FSA administrator.
Superbills may be available upon request for families who wish to pursue possible out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance provider.

AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. It’s a way for children who have difficulty speaking—or who aren’t yet using spoken language—to communicate their thoughts, needs, and ideas in other ways.
AAC can include things like:
Picture systems or communication boards
Speech-generating devices (like an iPad with a communication app)
Gestures, signs, or eye gaze systems
Simple visuals like choice boards or core word pages
AAC does not replace speech—it supports communication. For many children, AAC helps build language skills, reduce frustration, and increase spoken communication over time.
